Experience from pre-post production as a writer, director, assistant director, production assistant, camera assistant, editor. I love shaping stories through creativity and collaboration.
Proficient in drawing, painting, and graphic design, with a growing focus on animation and motion graphics. I approach visual art as a space for experimentation and storytelling.
I co-wrote the Heartland Emmy finalist Plan B and write short films and stories that explore character and structure. Writing is where I uncover the core of a story before it takes form on screen.
I have always been drawn to creative expression and storytelling, whether through making iMovies or drawing comic books. I practiced with passion and grew from the experience, which instilled in me a desire to keep learning and improving.
At the University of Denver, I was introduced to many passionate people. I learned that collaboration is key, and with that mindset, I worked with others to create numerous meaningful creative projects. I also gained many valuable skills from my talented professors.
Under the excellent hospitality and tutelage of Mexicana filmmaker Soco Aguilar, I contributed to a feature film as well as the production of the documentary Sandra Cisneros Uncensored. I traveled, grew further in my craft, and gained new skills in business, animation, and film production.
My most recent adventure came after my graduation. It was my first time in South America, where I visited Chile, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. Volunteering at hostels and a nature reserve provided me with incredible opportunities and experiences. I worked with new people in different languages, contributing to social media and storytelling for business.
